Grow leading boat brands in one of the nation’s largest boating markets! Manitowoc Marina is searching for an experienced Yacht Broker to formalize and grow the sales footprint of Axopar, BRABUS, Cutwater, Rossiter, X-Yachts, and other boutique lines in the State of Michigan. This role has massive opportunities for someone looking to grow their career with some of the largest boat brands in the world. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Represent Manitowoc Marina in the sale of new and used boats and accessories
• Be a brand ambassador for leading boat brands; including Axopar Boats and BRABUS Marine
• Ensure regular maintenance and readiness of all in-stock units
• Develop warranty relationships with service yards across Michigan
• Coordinate with marketing on lead generation and advertising opportunities
• Generate and maintain leads for all clients in the State of Michigan
• Lead Manitowoc Marina’s first office in Michigan, located in Traverse City
• Produce digital content for Manitowoc Marina social media and website
• Solicit brokerage listings and represent Manitowoc Marina in the sale of used inventory
• Understand our ideal customer demographics and how they relate to our products
• Represent Manitowoc Marina at regional and national boat shows

Job Requirements:

• Experience in B2C sales and providing a world-class customer experience
• Ability to safely operate sail and powerboats
• Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies at scale
• Experience in customer relationship management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends, particularly during peak season
• Ability to travel across State of Michigan for client meetings, showings, and deliveries
• Ability to travel to Manitowoc, WI for training, boat preparation, and other tasks as required

Employment Information:

Full-time position, includes full Manitowoc Marina LLC benefits package, including but not limited to: healthcare, paid vacation, 401K. Compensation includes a base salary, and commission for boats sold.
