The Famous Ed Monk Two-Cabin Design

The Ocean Alexander 38 is a handsome, trawler-style cruiser made notable in the mid-1980s for her quality construction.  She was built using the Ed Monk Two-Cabin Design on a solid fiberglass, semi-displacement hull with hard aft chines and a shallow keel for directional stability.

“Odyssey” is a perfect example of a very well cared for Ocean Alexander 38. You will find no disappointments and plenty of recent upgrades that set this one apart.

Accommodations include sleeping for 6 in two separate staterooms. The master stateroom aft has a walk-a-round queen with the shower separate from the head. The main salon offers extra room for all with the galley and L shaped sofa seating. Forward of the galley is the guest stateroom that offers plenty of space for two as well as a second head.  The flybridge offers plenty of seating for all guests as well as great visibility from the helm, in additional to multi-use space on top of the aft cabin deck.

Odyssey makes an excellent Great Loop boat having completed the loop with it's current owners.

Odyssey has been professionally maintained and is a great find in todays market.
