Kismet | Pacific Seacraft Crealock 34 | 34ft

About

"Kismet" offers fast performance under sail, sea kindliness, and ease of handling, comfort and timeless beauty. "Kismet" has resided on the cold, clean, fresh waters of The Great Lakes since 1999. Before that it spent one winter in salt water before being transported north.

Below decks, "Kismet" is light, airy and exceptionally commodious with 6-foot 3-inch headroom; a spacious, versatile salon; U-shaped gourmet galley; and bunk space for six. Her quality is evident in solid chromed, bronze fittings, teak joinery, a hand laid-up hull and molded fiberglass interior. She has (2) owner-built teak-framed hatch screens which hinge down to enable access to hatches from interior. All port screens have sturdy owner-built stainless steel port screens (both frames and screens). Kismet is well-ventilated.

There is a solid teak folding cockpit table mounted to the steering pedestal finished in Honey Teak.

The forward cabin has a double 6' 6" x 71" vee berth w/filler cushion, two cedar lined hanging lockers, shelves w/fiddle rails, storage drawers, screened deck hatch, opening ports w/marine-grade stainless steel screens, and reading lights.

The head is to port with a manual head & holding tank (deck pump out discharge with by pass for direct pump out), stainless steel sink, pressure water & manual foot pump, molded counter top, large mirror, handheld shower, teak shower grate, and independent shower sump pump, cabinet, and storage shelves, one opening port and a Dorade vent.

The salon's starboard settee makes a comfortable 6' 6" single berth with storage behind and below. The port settee also has storage behind and below and can serve as a 6'6" double berth. Upholstery was cleaned in 2022. The dining table can be folded to aid moving about below decks. Good light and ventilation are provided by multiple opening ports w/screens, Dorade vents, screened deck hatches, and the companionway has both proper drop boards and stowable folding, removable screen doors. The interior grab rails make movement below decks safe and secure in a seaway.

The U-shaped galley to port has storage galore, double stainless steel sinks near center line with a cold water foot pump, hot and cold pressure water with a 6 gallon, 110V AC/engine /heated water heater, a large 6 cubic foot insulated ice box, a gimbaled, three burner Force 10 propane stove with oven and built in waste basket. New Jabsco fresh water pump installed and accumulator re-built in 2017.

The forward facing navigation station is to starboard at the front of the 7' 7" x 34" quarter berth. There are additional storage shelves under and outboard and a teak “small items” shelf above the nav. station.

"Kismet" has been gently used, well maintained and has had meticulous attention to documentation. She is setup up to single hand with many upgrades.

The boat is available to view by appointment in Marinette, WI.
