The Passport 10.5 R is an entry-level, yet highly capable pedal-powered kayak from Hobie, ideal for anglers and recreational paddlers. At just 10'5" long and 34" wide, it’s compact, sporty, and easy to transport.
Powered by the MirageDrive GT with Kick-Up Fins, this kayak offers smooth, hands-free forward propulsion. The fins automatically retract when they hit obstacles—perfect for navigating shallow areas or rocky terrain—while still delivering impressive gliding efficiency.
Weighing approximately 75 lb fully rigged and carrying up to 325 lb total, it strikes an excellent balance between portability and performance. The lightweight thermoformed hull is durable yet manageable, and stacks easily for storage.
Designed with ease-of-use in mind, it features a suspended mesh seat, simple twist-n-seal hatch, gear tracks, and two rod holders. Steering is handled with a manual stowable rudder for dependable directional control.
